About Dr. Lee - Dr. Lee is a board-certified neurologist, and he completed his neurology residency at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and subsequently completed fellowships in Epilepsy (Intraoperative Monitoring), and Neuromuscular Disorders at UCLA and Movement Disorders at University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Lee has had over 15 years of experience treating patients with movement disorders, including Parkinson’s Disease, Atypical Parkinsonism, Drug Induced Parkinsonism, Essential Tremor, Dystonia, Lewy Body Dementia and other Neurodegenerative disorders. He has treated thousands of patients with every type of dystonia during his career and runs a regional electrodiagnostic lab and movement disorder hub with referrals coming from all over Northern California. Dr. Lee has special clinical and research interest in Atypical Parkinsonism, Neuromodulation in Dystonia and Neurodegenerative Disorders, and clinical application of neurotoxins (botulinum toxins). Dr. Lee’s treatment philosophy revolves around dignity in healthcare and focusing on empowering patients to be proactive stewards. Individuals with ALL forms of dystonia as well as their family members, friends and others are invited to join us for our first virtual support group meeting of 2026. Our goal is to create a comfortable and safe setting for our attendees where we can learn, exchange information and support one another.

Description: Lincoln Beal is a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist physical therapist based out of Los Angeles, California, working at Re+active PhysicalTherapy and Wellness, an outpatient integrated care clinic that specializes in neurologic care through physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, and wellness services. He completed his doctoral studies at the University of Southern California in 2021, and the Schmidt Movement Disorders Fellowship in 2022. He has passion for working with complex movement disorders and educating on the topic of dystonia, including in his role as Director of the Dystonia Program at Re+active.

Dr. Sexton is a Medical Staff Professional at the Department of Family Medicine at the Center for Integrative Medicine at University of California San Diego, the first Naturopathic Doctor hired at UCSD. She is formerly Assistant Adjunct Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at UCSD. After her Naturopathic medicine degree at Bastyr University in Seattle, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington in the Departments of Pharmacology/Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. There, she studied the endocannabinoid system and its roles in neuro-inflammation and neuro-degeneration. Her NIH-funded pre-doctoral and postdoctoral research investigated cannabis effects on immune parameters in patients with Multiple Sclerosis. Dr. Sexton has presented her research internationally, published in peer-reviewed journals and is an accomplished public speaker. Dr. Sexton’s clinical practice, research and teaching focus on treating the whole person, using the healing power of nature, treating the cause, prevention and functional medicine across the lifespan. She has worked with chronic pain patients at UCSD since 2016 and implemented a whole health pain curriculum in a group medical visit setting. She is currently inventing a survivorship series for patients with cancer diagnoses. She is the author of "Eat, Sleep, Relax, Protect, Forget: An Endocannabinoid (ECS) Guide to Systems Wholeness for Women."
